<itunes:summary>Hey cats and kittens! Only ONE MORE EPISODE LEFT THIS SEASON! Of Doctor Who, that is. Timey Wimey TV, it would never abandon you (for more than one or two weeks at a time).

But before we get to Who, we catch up on some other stuff -- like the upcoming Fox pilot Sleepy Hollow, which looks AMAZING...ly bad. (You better believe we'll be watching it come fall.)

And it looks like the Richard Curtis film About Time is actually a real movie that will be in theaters! But don't watch the U.S. trailer, because it has a massive plot spoiler in it! Watch the UK one!

Finally, it's time for Doctor Who -- first, we catch up on news about things like audiobooks and the accidental leak of the season finale! NOTE: The discussion gets very slightly spoiler-y, but it's all theory based on one shot in the "next time on" segment and if you skip from timecode 19:20 to 23:00, you'll avoid it.

Then, we take on "Nightmare in Silver"! How psyched were we to see Warwick Davis? What's scarier, an army of Cybermen or one Cyber-Doctor? How annoying, exactly, were those kids? Find out what Rudy and Liz think, then also find out what you think!

Because we asked you for your thoughts, and we'd love to hear them again via Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Google Plus or via email and share your thoughts! (You could even comment on this very post, were you so inclined!) And as always, thanks for listening. We even threw in a big fat Archer reference this week! Because we love you.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>Hey folks! We got a two-fer for you this week! Well, first we catch up on some cool science news about time crystals! And talk about a really cool music video! Then, we get into things that matter. Like the last two episodes of Doctor Who!

First Liz and Rudy break down their pros and cons for "Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS"! Were their expectations high? Were the secrets revealed disappointing? Are reset buttons inherently malarkey? You'd better believe we talk about it!

Then it's onto Sweetville for "The Crimson Horror"! Did Liz and Rudy enjoy the return of everyone's favorite Victorian alien threesome? How good was Dame Diana Rigg's scene chewing? Does chair beat sonic screwdriver? Find out!

<itunes:summary>Hey, friends, ready for a new episode? I bet you are! This week, Liz and Rudy start off by speculating over episode name news -- especially when it comes to the season finale, which is all sorts of exciting.

Plus, Liz read The Angel's Kiss, and Rudy watched clips from what technically counts as Doctor Who's 30th Anniversary Special. One was hilariously bad, and one was vaguely enjoyable! Guess which was which!

Then we dig into the newest episode of Who: "Hide"! Did going beyond your typical ghost story improve the adventure for Liz and Rudy? How great was it to see Dougray Scott in glasses? Was this podcast overall a totally shallow experience for all concerned? Listen and learn!

And then tell us what you think! Do so in the comments here, on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Google Plus or via email! Because we love to know what you think. FOR REALZ.</itunes:summary>

First things first: Liz and Rudy dig into the news that Christopher Eccleston is officially not on board with Doctor Who's 50th Anniversary special, even if David Tennant is.

Then, it's time to talk about the newest episode of Who, the name of which we're not totally sure how to pronounce, but we enjoyed watching! Was the premise enough to sustain an hour of drama? What mysteries about Clara were resolved? Did Liz cobble together a Bitchy Feminist Moment of the Week? HELL YES.

The reason for that Bitchy Feminist Moment? AMAZING HUMAN BEING Jason H. made us a theme song! And you will get to hear it, as well as other amazing things, if you listen!

Well, first Liz and Rudy have SERIOUS BUSINESS to discuss: Specifically, the confirmation that appearing in the 50th Anniversary Special alongside special guest star John Hurt will be none other than David Tennant and Billie Piper! Yay for that, right? Right! Though Liz might have some concerns. What would they be? Listen and learn!

Then we get to what we've waited months for -- what essentially amounts to the season premiere of Who, featuring Jenna-Louise Coleman as new(ish) companion Clara! Did Liz and Rudy dig her chemistry with Matt Smith? Was the episode's emphasis on character over plot welcome or disappointing? Were there enough references to the 1995 film Hackers? (There are never enough references to the 1995 film Hackers, is the answer to that last question.)

<itunes:summary>Hey, it's New Doctor Who Eve! Last new podcast before the triumphant (fingers crossed) return of our favorite time travel adventure show. And what have we got in store for you today?

Well, the BBC Radio 4 adaptation of Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere has landed, and it's so far pretty solid! You can gaze in awe at its nerd-friendly cast here, and listen either on the BBC iPlayer or iTunes (for a very limited time, however).

And we recap some of the latest Who news, including the two prequels that came out over the last week, and a recent Guardian article that called out the show for not having had any female writers since 2008. (There might be a digression at this point in the conversation about women in nerd culture.)

But it's time for the main attraction -- the results of the Time Travel Device March Madness Final Four! Maybe you saw the outcome coming, but how exactly did we arrive at these results, and what exactly happened to Liz as she and Rudy debate which two champions should move onto the final round? Listen and find out!

And now, it's time for democracy! Below, please find the VERY EXCITING POLL that you should use to CAST YOUR VOTE for who wins Time Travel Device March Madness! We have no say in the matter whatsoever from now on! You decide which reigns supreme: Back to the Future's Delorean, or Doctor Who's TARDIS!

Tell us why you voted the way you did in the comments here, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Google Plus or via email! Thanks for listening -- can't wait to hear what you think of "The Bells of St. John!"</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>Hey, guys! We tackle two big funtime topics in this week's episode, because we are joined by SPECIAL GUESTS Andreanna and Mike, two newlyweds whose Dalek wedding cake toppers (made by Root of Flatland Games) are pictured here. But like many couples, one had to introduce Doctor Who to the other -- which makes them uniquely qualified to debate the best way to bring new potential fans into the wonderful world of space and time.

And then of course, we also determine the ELITE EIGHT of our very exciting TIME TRAVEL DEVICE MARCH MADNESS! Listen to hear how we ended up with the below bracket, which was largely determined by your thoughts, but also our weird determination of what makes for a functional time travel device!

Next week, we drop down to the FINAL FOUR, and we need your help in order to figure out who should move on. So please, tell us what you think! We can be found on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Google Plus and email -- and thanks so much for listening!</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME SPORTS FANS! Well, maybe not sports fans, but definitely welcome time travel fans to a new month and a new episode!

First up today we've got the news all us Doctor Who fans have been craving in the lead-up to the show's return this Easter: What color will the Doctor's coat be this time? This, as well as glimpses of the new season's villains, can be found in the teaser poster for the premiere episode "The Bells of St. Johns," and Rudy and Liz take some time to decode its secrets.

Then it is time, at long last, for us to kick off Time Travel Device March Madness! Below, please find our bracket, be it ever so humble:

Sound off in the comments about who should win and who should lose in Round 1 -- we'll be back next week with the results and the contenders for Round 2!

Plus, who are the least competent time travelers ever? iO9 put out its list this week, and we have OPINIONS! Do you agree with iO9's list? Or our thoughts? Tell us!

How might you do so? Glad you asked! We can be found on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Google Plus and email. Can't wait to hear your March Madness thoughts -- we'll be back next week!</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>We're not holding our breath in the lead-up to the return of Doctor Who -- instead, we're dealing with an epic level of news!

And not just stuff like the fact that Jon Pertwee, the 3rd Doctor, WAS TOTALLY A SPY DURING WORLD WAR II, but all the gossip leading up to the 50th Anniversary Special, including how long Jenna-Louise Coleman will be the Doctor's companion and what we should expect from the the fall franchise!

Plus, there's news regarding a certain classic bit of animation being adapted as a feature film, further ragging on Rudy about his lack of love for the Canadian series Continuum, and continued plans for our own take on March Madness: Time Travel Devices Edition! We're currently debating the topic on Reddit, but just as soon as Liz and Rudy figure out how brackets work, the debate will be here on the podcast.

In the meantime, let us know what you think on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Google Plus and email. Thank you all for listening!</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>Hey, all, fun episode for you this time! Might be hooey, but might be exciting! Someday, we might actually know for sure what's really in store for us this fall!

Plus, they cast a few folk in Mark Gatiss's docu-drama on the creation of the show, including Argus Filch from Harry Potter and Brian Cox. And Rudy read Doctor Who: A Big Hand For The Doctor, the first novella in this year's series of ebooks devoted to past Doctors.

And we also caught this cool short film courtesy of listener Hubert -- for a three-minute YouTube short, it's pretty impressive work:

Then, SURPRISE TWIST! Liz and Rudy have a rare difference of opinion with regards to the very timey-wimey series Continuum, which premiered in Canada last year but just made its American debut on SyFy. Who thought the show was a fun update on classic 1990s Vancouver-shot sci-fi drama? Who was disappointed by its reliance on pastiche and tropes borrowed from cyberpunk and other genres? Have Liz and Rudy agreed to see where things go with it? Did Liz and Rudy also agree on how awesome Future Cop's future-suit is? Listen and learn!

Then we go over our least-favorite episodes ever of Doctor Who, in preparation for our upcoming bet about the secret origins of the Doctor's new companion Clara. We got you covered! You like hearing Rudy explain to Liz how the Star Trek/Doctor Who comic book is going? That happens too!

And this is not awesome, but still -- if you want to support the artist behind the Star Trek/Doctor Who comics, J.K. Woodward (who lost his home thanks to Hurricane Sandy) is selling art at his website. Go buy something!

Then, through the magic of technology, we're joined by Travis Richey, Inspector Spacetime on Community and star/co-creator of the completely unrelated Untitled Web Series About A Space Traveler Who Can Also Travel Through Time.

And while there are a few audio hiccups, Travis is great! In our interview, he reveals when the idea for an Inspector web series began (hint: much earlier than you might guess), how he actively engaged with the fanbase to guide the creation of the Inspector Spacetime canon, and where things stand for Untitled Web Series... Season 2!

We loved talking to Travis, and hope you enjoy it as well! As always, you can find us on Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and email -- let us know what you think! It will make us happy!</itunes:summary>

For this discussion, Liz and Rudy are joined by special guests Megan and Noah to break down Rian Johnson's timey-wimey tale of future assassins and mother issues.

Did the production design convincingly bring the year 2044 to life? Did Liz and Megan have some, ahem, thoughts about the portrayal of female characters? How much did we all love the meta commentary on time travel, and that crazy gross scene with Future Paul Dano? (You know the one.) Listen and find out!

<itunes:summary>To say goodbye to the Ponds and Season 7 (part one) of Doctor Who, Liz and Rudy did what they usually do at the conclusion of a Who run -- bring together some special guests for a special round-table discussion!

This round-table... Well, we certainly had plenty to discuss. There's no great way to sum up this round table discussion, except to say that there's some cursing, at least 10 minutes of discussion devoted to Gilmore Girls and Supernatural, and two bottles of wine drained in the first half hour.

So please enjoy the discussion between Liz, Rudy, podcast virgin Beth, Lizzie Bennet Diaries and Airship Dracula writer Jay, Timey Wimey TV veteran Megan and late-to-the-party Barrett!

IMPORTANT NOTE! Because of Doctor Who going on hiatus and other personal life stuff, Timey Wimey TV is going on quasi-hiatus for a few weeks (with the exception of a very special episode devoted to Looper that we'll have for you soon).

However, when we come roaring back in November, we'll want to hear what you think about all this -- so sound off using the usual methods: We've got Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and email!

After your comments on episodes past and a quick round-up of time travel news (including the latest issues of the Star Trek/Doctor Who comic and this question from iO9: What historical mysteries might be solved with time travel?), we get right to the last Doctor Who adventure to feature Amy and Rory Pond.

Did this compare to past Weeping Angel adventures? Did the final moments compare to past Who companion departures? Did Liz cry? Did Rudy cry? Find out!

Tell us what you think, using Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and email, and thanks as always for listening. And hooray for reaching 50 episodes! Couldn't have done it without you guys.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>New episode! Small inanimate cubes! The penultimate Ponds episode! Good times all around.

This week, after marveling at the possibility of Peter Jackson perhaps directing an episode (after Matt Smith asked nice), and a long digression on whether or not Big Bang Theory is offensive to nerd culture, Liz and Rudy take on a more domestic Doctor Who adventure!

Did they enjoy the glimpses we got of life as a part-time companion of the Doctor? Did the plot hold together all the way through? Should this had been a two-parter -- or the season premiere? Liz and Rudy not only debate these questions, but respond to your comments and questions! And finalize the terms of their Jenna-Louise Coleman bet! It'll be fun.

Oh, while our iTunes issues persist, here's a link to a quick tutorial on how to add an RSS feed to your iTunes account. An imperfect solution, but hopefully a helpful placeholder.

While we work on that, tell us what you think! We are on Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and email -- and we're very excited to hear what you think! See you guys NEXT WEEK!</itunes:summary>

But then we get to the Doctor's latest adventure in the Old West! Were the stakes stake-y enough? How useless were Amy and Rory, exactly? How awesome was Ben Browder? I bet you can guess the answers to at least one of those questions, but you should listen anyway.

That's literally all we do in this episode -- respond to your comments on last week's episode and then talk about the new episode! It's good wholesome fun. Though we do bid farewell to our beloved regular feature: The Steven Moffat Tweet of the Week. It was fun while it lasted, Moff.

Oh, and Liz and Rudy formalize a bet regarding the return of Jenna-Louise Coleman to the show. The only thing we have yet to do: Figure out what punishment will befall the loser. Suggestions so far include re-watching "Daleks in Manhattan" or writing fanfic -- let's see what else we can come up with!

<itunes:summary>Doctor Who is back! Huzzah! And we're back to weekly episodes, because Doctor Who is back!

In this episode, Liz and Rudy first catch up on the latest issues of the epic Star Trek: TNG/Doctor Who comic book crossover, which has taken some weird turns in issue 4. For the better or for the worse? That is a question we answer!

Then, it's onto Pond Life, the five episode web series which teased excited Who fans with glimpses at what Amy and Rory have been doing prior to Season 7. One of us really liked it, and one of us didn't! Try and guess which!

Finally, we're onto "Asylum of the Daleks," which introduced both the concept of Dalek zombies and new companion Jenna-Louise Coleman! Sorta. What did Liz and Rudy think of that twist and the episode in general? How does Amy stack up in their estimation of Who's previous companions? How many Bitchy Feminist Moments (TM) did Liz manage to fit into their discussion? (The answer to that last one might be 3.)

What did you think, though? Use Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus or email to tell us! And thanks for listening! We will see you NEXT WEEK.</itunes:summary>

I mean, the primary thing is that we continue our bummer summer of Netflix viewing with an actually GOOD movie -- the 2007 film Los Cronocrímenes (or, as it's known in America, Timecrimes). Is the low-budget Spanish film worth checking out? We will tell you!

Other things that come up this week:
The charming short film Time Travel Boy, which is worth your 10 minutes.Ryan North's BtotheF project has been compiled into an ebook. Is it too late to kill Hitler? And an intriguing new ARG running through the streets of Los Angeles.

Plus, there's Doctor Who debating over the fall schedule, which has since been cleared up (less than two weeks until "Asylum of the Daleks") -- but you'll enjoy us wondering about the illusive 50th anniversary plans, a very nerdy spreadsheet, and a sonic screwdriver remote control that may not work that well.

Plus, not only will the next X-Men movie explore days of future past, there's some interesting news about Christopher Eccleston -- not only is he signed up to kick some ass in the Marvelverse, but he might not be done with The Doctor?

And Liz's mom wrote a time travel story! It's actually really good! You should read it!
